Junior Art Explorers (5-6 years) FULL!!

9 am – 12 pm

A week of art designed specifically for 5 and 6 year olds; a mixed media class in which children work with paint, collage, print making, drawing materials and more. Instructors will teach basic art concepts, terms, skills and techniques. Classes include both group and individual instruction encouraging participants to express their creativity.

Fee including HST and materials $90

Art & Craft Camp (7-11 years) FULL!!

9 am – 4 pm, with supervised lunch 12 noon – 1 pm;  Mornings 9-12 noon;  Afternoons 1-4 pm

Drawing, painting, printmaking, collage, cartooning, sculpture, and lots of other creative activities will keep your budding artist inspired throughout the week of Easter break. With the expert guidance of professional artists/instructors, new and returning, participants will have fun and make a lot of cool stuff. Choose to enroll for full days or choose a half day option of either mornings or afternoons.

Sew Fashionable: Sewing Camp (10-15 years)

Mornings 9 am-12 pm OR 1-4pm…(AM session is FULL!)

This is a real do- it-yourself camp!! Day one participants learn basic dye techniques and create fabrics to be incorporated into their sewing projects. Day two is an introduction to the operation of the sewing machine and an opportunity to practice the basics. From there you sew a simple summer dress and a matching shoulder bag. No previous experience required but sewing skills will prove beneficial.

Fee including supplies $115

Drawing, Painting, Jewellery & Dye (12-17 years) (FULL!!)

Afternoons 1-4 pm

An opportunity for budding artists to get their zzz’s and still be creatively productive. Students will explore drawing and painting techniques; experiment with fabric dying; make jewellery; take sketching field trips to The Rooms and other nearby locations for inspiration. Hone your existing artistic skills and learn new ones, meet working artists, and become familiar with the best arts facility in the city!
