Lectures

Often local/visiting artists present their work with slides, images and samples as a way of sharing their work with the community. Public lectures are often associated with other events, or coordinated with programming partners. For example, a lecture held during the time of a heritage conference featured architect Robert Mellin, and a recent visiting artist to the Craft Council – Rory MacDonald from the Ceramics Department of the University of Regina, gave a public artist talk at the Centre.
